With my last week of work here on cape cod quickly approaching, I am looking forward to getting home. However, there is still much more work to do, and unfortunately the work will not be completed by the time I leave. I am making good progress though, I am completing 12 samples per day and the chromatography makes the days go buy. I plan on starting to collect a t least some data during this upcoming week, but my main priority is to finish the chomatography. This trip has taught me a lot and I feel that the lab experience that I gained will be very helpful. Life here at WHOI has been really interesting and the time on Cape Cod has been very insightful. The community here is heavily invested in the science institutes that occupy its town, making it a great place to be. Although my time here was amazing, I am looking forward to getting home and preparing to go off to college.
